Analysis of refrigerant flow in metal piping using pulsed neutron imaging.
Detailed analysis of refrigerant flow in metal piping using diagrams and photos!
This document introduces "Refrigerant Flow Analysis in Metal Pipes Using Pulsed Neutron Imaging." Many actual products have refrigerants flowing through opaque metal pipes. In this study, we replaced some parts with transparent materials for observation. As a result, radiographic measurements in the actual operating state visualized the flow patterns of the gas-liquid two-phase flow and the positions and movements of bubble generation. Additionally, by analyzing the FWHM at the edge, we were able to quantitatively evaluate the liquid film thickness. 【Contents (partial)】 ■ Background of the research ■ Purpose of the research ■ Examination using neutron transmission rate calculations - Transmission rate curves for representative refrigerants - Transmission rate curves for refrigerants in metal pipes *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
